 Teaching weeks at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Cultural Studies

We offer block sessions and long-term courses:

  • There are block sessions (called blockwochen) during the first two weeks and the last two weeks of the semester.
  • SummerSemester (SS) 2019:
    Block I: 25.03.2019–05.04.2019
    Block II: 08.07.2019–19.07.2019
  • WinterSemester (WS) 2019/20:
  • Block I: 23.09.2019 – 04.10.2019
    Block II: 27.01.2020 – 07.02.2020
  • The duration of a block session is usually 5 days. Most of the block sessions have preparatory or follow-up meetings that can be compulsory.

  • There are also long-term courses that take place throughout the regular teaching weeks (SS19:  08.04.2019-05.07.2019, SW19/20: 07.10.2019–24.01.2020).
